This is too early for the 50th Reunion input but this is an idea to be refined that we can ask the class to input for the reunion committee to use in planning. See what you think
1. Timing...In the recent past we have scheduled the reunion around Fair weekend. Is this still appropriate or if not, can you suggest a better weekend?
2. Nights...We have had a relaxed evening on Friday followed by a more formal affair on Saturday night. Is this still appropriate or would you suggest a change?
3. Locations...Do you have suggestions for places you would like to go/not go Friday night and Saturday night
4. Entertainment...We usually have not had any entertainment Friday night, but have spent that time as an informal gathering. Is this still appropriate? Saturday night we have had everything from dancing and a band/disc jockey to a no dancing/CD player. What would you like to do at the 50th?
5. Additional Events...This year we had a service on the Mountain on Sunday morning led by John Edwards, but usually we have had no special events. Would you like to consider doing this again or adding something else like golf, tennis, steak fry, other?
6. Money...Taking into consideration cost for benefit, what price would you feel is fair to charge for the event?
7. Other...Some other classes have given scholarships to LHS students or have donated money to the High School for something special. Would our class like to do something similar? And if we do, we would need to build our kitty. What would you suggest we consider for funding, i.e. raising money, contributions, etc.
