Recap of the 45th
This year's 45th Reunion spearheaded by Larry Woods had about 40 classmate in attendance with a total of 60 attendees. Everyone had a good time and of course how could anyone not, with the Fair in town...and Pink Cricket pizza?
A very special event for a few brave souls was to climb Mt. Pleasant on Sunday morning to hear John Edwards give the Sunday AM sermon. It was beautiful weather...and good to see so many young looking classmates attend!
Larry passed the baton to AJ and Mary Anne Thrush who will be the co-captains for our 2013 reunion. Please stay tuned for more information as they plan to use this site to gain information from all of us and share their plans each step of the way.
Here is something Larry Woods wanted to share with everyone...
Alumna Banquet Time
It's that wonderful Alumni Banquet time When classmates get together
And talk about the good old days
And how they've stood the weather.
It's fun to sit and reminisce!
And oh the tales we hear!
It wasn't only work in school,
They make that very clear!
Such jokes we played in those days!
Their laughter fills the air.
It's such a happy, happy time
As old friends gather there.
The men are all so handsome
The ladies lovely, too,
And no one feels the mark of time
Or the years that they've been through.
It's like a flash-back to other days
When all are young again,
Just getting ready to tackle the world
With our future ahead of us then.
We sing our beloved school songs
And join in a remembered cheer
And suddenly a lump forms in our throat
As we wipe away a tear.
Yes, it is Alumni time again!
And we wish it would never end;
A night when we are classmates again
Visiting friend to friend!
